We're proud to be supporting "Project Fire and Ice" with our range of expedition clothing and equipment from insulated jackets to fleeces and more. The Fire and Ice team, comprising Jason Fox, Aldo Kane, Brian Wood MC and Karl Hinett are taking on a 500 kilometre Arctic Ultra, through the snow covered forests of Swedish Lapland in March. Fundraising for SSAFA the Armed Forces charity, all money raised will go towards supporting veterans with the transition to civilian life. With thanks to our amazing community we were delighted to raise £10,000 for charity in 2024's "Santa's Sack" giveaway. Winner of the giveaway, Laura, won herself a prize bundle including a ThruDark voucher as well as experiences with Land Rover Defender, Triumph and gifts from Dometic, Le Chameau, Oceanographic Magazine and more. However, most importantly, Laura chose The Children's Cancer Unit Charity as her nominated charity meaning the entire £10,000 donation pot went to supporting children, young people and their families facing a cancer diagnosis or complex blood disorder. With your support, 2024 has been another incredible year in our brand's short story to date. We've grown our range with exciting new releases offering variety across a number of different environments and pursuits from the urban Wraith range, to our heritage style HeriTech range, whilst remaining true to our roots with the redesign of icons like the Scout Smock, Siege Tech Fleece, Breach, Patriot and Parka jackets. One of the biggest highlights of our year was helping get veterans back to work with the Call of Duty Endowment and seeing our clothing appear in the global Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This growth and innovation has been recognised from the Times100, to a British entrepreneurs retail award and another coveted Polartec Apex trophy for product development. 2025 holds even more in store and we cannot wait to get started but for now we want to wish you all a very happy new year and an even better year ahead. ThruDark's annual Christmas party saw the team take to the track at South Coast Karting in Christchurch for an afternoon of fast and furious racing action. Leading from the front, Co-Founders Anthony 'Staz' Stazicker CGC and Louis Tinsley used every inch of their advanced driving capability to take pole position before a diplomatic decision was made to drop back and allow Store Lead Theo to take gold. Fun was had and there were smiles all round (not too much fun and not too many smiles, this is ThruDark after all). Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!
