Tinnitus UK's vision is a world where no one suffers from tinnitus. We support and give information to people with tinnitus via: • our confidential freephone helpline - 0800 018 0527 and email helpline@tinnitus.org.uk • our accredited information leaflets, written by leading experts in the field. We have specialist information for young people and those with learning disabilities. • Quiet, our journal for members • our websites tinnitus.org.uk and takeontinnitus.co.uk (focusing on management) • information days and awareness raising events • training health professionals and providing guidance for GPs Additionally, we are striving towards a cure via supporting a vibrant research programme . Registered Charity no 1011145 (England and Wales)

With over 10 years’ experience, she specialises in assessing and managing tinnitus and hyperacusis through cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, relaxation techniques, and hearing amplification.   • Some people who struggle with tinnitus may find it difficult to get a good nights sleep.  The shift from a noisy daytime environment to quiet nights can make tinnitus much more noticeable during bedtime.  Visit our website for more tips and information on sleep disturbance (link in comments)

  • During this February’s Tinnitus Week, Tinnitus UK will be ringing the alarm with the publication of a new report that reveals the current status of tinnitus care in the UK. In November 2024 the charity surveyed audiologists working in the UK and hundreds answered the call. Read more information and book your place today (Link in comments)

  • Tinnitus is very common in children, recent research suggests that 1 in 30 children have tinnitus.  The majority of children are not troubled by their tinnitus, and it does not affect their performance at school. However, a small number of children can be distressed by it and need support.  If you or anyone you know need advice on caring for a child who are struggling with tinnitus, we have information available on our website (link in comments)
