From 7th July UK has fallen further back from G20 vehicle safety best practice. This is due to failure of Conservative Govt to apply life saving technologies now being mandated by the General Safety Regulation to all production across EU vehicle market. https://lnkd.in/ePiuRSXA. The package of technologies include Auto Emergency Braking, Intelligent Speed Assistance, event data recorders, improved occupant safety for females & blind spot reduction for HGVs. The Department for Transport knows they are cost effective, ready for GB type approval, & will save UK lives.
