Great news - 80% of the new Piccadilly line trains will now be assembled in Goole, Yorkshire, up from an initial 50%. Next-gen trains for London will be delivered by the next-gen of British engineers in Goole! This commitment reflects the exceptional manufacturing capabilities of our soon-to-open train factory and our team at Goole. Up to £200 million is being invested into the Goole whole rail village, creating a site that will create up to 700 jobs and provide up to 1,700 opportunities in the supply chain. We are thrilled to contribute to the growth of the local economy and support the communities we serve, and because we build in Britain, there’s a piece of Britain in everything we build. Together, we are transforming rail travel and transport. 🌟 Click to read more: https://sie.ag/5xkKZ3 #TransformTheEveryday #BuiltinBritain #UKmanufacturing
