    Love is in trouble. Big Trouble. 💔 Did you know nearly half (47%) of British couples didn’t celebrate Valentine's at all this year? We used to go BIG on love - boomboxes out the window, anonymous love letters, flash mob proposals... where’s it all gone? At least brands are still doing love BIG! 😃 Oh, what? They aren’t? Ah… Luckily, our Associate Creative Director, 👽 George Bartlett 👽, is on a quest to bring back the grand gestures!   • OUR LATEST WORK - Frozen & Forgotten ❄️ This is Rob. Rob is 68 years old and like 1.7 million older people in the UK, he cannot afford to heat his home. After the recent Winter fuel payment cuts, we realised we needed to make some noise around this issue. Alongside Independent Age and markettiers, we created this life-sized ice sculpture of Rob. It sat on London's Southbank this week, but its message was heard by millions across the UK. Picked up by Good Morning Britain, BBC Spotlight, LBC and many more, we were able to tell the story of Rob and millions of others in a way never done before. A huge thanks to Hamilton Ice Sculptors for doing an incredible job, and thanks to MDRN LOVE - Production House for capturing these amazing stills on yet another cold Winter morning.

  • ❄️ Frozen & Forgotten: The Cold Truth for Older People This Winter ❄️ At 10°C, a home can kill. To bring awareness to this crisis, we teamed up with Independent Age and markettiers to create a life-sized ice sculpture of Rob. Rob is 68 and works as a cab driver. He cannot afford to heat his home. Although our ice sculpture spent the day on Southbank, it’s message spread across the UK, picking up support from Good Morning Britain, BBC Spotlight, LBC and counting 📣 Together, we’re keeping the conversation around winter fuel payments going, to ensure people aren't frozen and forgotten.   • One of our new year traditions at Truant is a Dishoom breakfast. We try get out at least once a month for a group meal, but Dishoom always seems to be our chosen way to wave in the new year. We do it because these meet ups go so much further than a free meal. It’s a time to tap in with friends at a point when they’re ushering in new exciting phases, dreams and formats of new year life. 💡 Deeper connections = more comfort = more creativity Wouldn’t say a bacon naan was the best thing for productivity, but that’s to be expected I guess 🤷 Does your team have a tradition?
