In the last quarter of 2024, our higher education partners saw the mailouts they sent to our student email database have an average open rate of 39.1%, with a click through rate of 1.3%. Take this opportunity to send a mailout to our highly engaged student database of over 70,000, promoting your institution in whichever way you choose, be it open days, courses or brand awareness. As we enter the months leading up to the university application deadline, now is a key time to utilise the UK University Search student email database. This is made up exclusively of students who have attended one of our events in the last 18 months. You have complete creative control over the email/s you send using the database to promote your institution in any way that you choose. We have exceptional engagement rates, with a current average open rate of 38.6% and a click through of 1.2%. We have also had some incredibly successful individual email performances so far this academic year, with one email having an open rate of 49.1%, whilst another had a clickthrough rate of 1.8%. What fantastic news, well done to everyone who received fantastic A-level results today. - Around 80% got into their top choice University - A record number of students from disadvantaged backgrounds have accepted a place at University - 425,680 heading off to Uni, a rise of approx 3% For those of you who have entered clearing, do not worry, help is at hand. Clearing will not close until October 21st, so reach out to any University you are interested and ask about what places they have available. With results day right around the corner, we wanted to wish every student awaiting their grades, the best of luck. Regardless of what results you get; you should be proud of the work you have put in. We are so excited to announce the webinars we are running next week for the fifth consecutive year in a row to help prepare and inform students in the run up to results day! On Wednesday at noon we have the My Life as a University Student webinar where seven current students from seven different universities (the universities of Leeds, East Anglia, Keele, Southampton, Glasgow, Cardiff and Stirling) will give presentations on key aspects of university life including accommodation, money management, campus life and the transition from secondary school to university. On Friday (also starting at noon) we have our Clearing and Results Day webinar. This will involve student recruitment experts from four different universities (City, University of London, Solent University and the universities of Kent and Westminster) explaining the clearing/results day process. They will discuss clearing, clearing interviews, what to do on results day as well as how to arrange finances/accommodation if you receive an offer through clearing. These are both fabulous opportunities for students to become more informed and make their next steps with new found confidence and expertise and we are delighted to be working with our university partners on this.
