Since joining us in April 2022, Frazer has been instrumental in enhancing safety culture, ensuring compliance, and leading key sustainability initiatives across our projects.   With 10 years of experience spanning Construction, Manufacturing, and Engineering industries across the UK and Europe, Frazer brings exceptional leadership and a deep passion for protecting people and the environment. We'd like to share news about a recent project at Valley Group. It has been a fantastic start to the year for our Mechanical Install Team. Not long ago, the Bishopbriggs Sports Centre was dropped to a single boiler owing to the unfortunate failure of the existing boilers. After careful discussions and deliberations, we agreed that a new set of boilers and a flue system were necessary to restore the heat. The challenge was significant. We were tasked with the rather daunting prospect of keeping the Sports Centre fully open and operational during the entire process. With much skill and dedication, our team managed to install 1200KW temporary boilers hired from our good friends at Cross Rental, integrating them seamlessly into the existing heating system. This kept the Sports Centre operational and allowed us time and accessibility to strip out the faulty boilers and flues. Following the removal of the old system, we worked tirelessly and successfully installed three new Ideal Imax Xtra EL 545. Simultaneously, our trusted partners at JRF Chimneys embarked on the installation of the new chimney system. We couldn't be more pleased with the team’s efficiency and professionalism over the course of this project. It truly captures the cooperative spirit and skilled workmanship that defines the Valley Group.

It’s been a fantastic and busy week for the Valley Group team as we attended two local careers events, supporting young people in exploring future opportunities in the world of work.   On Wednesday, we were at Barrhead High School Careers Fayre, engaging with students and their families, sharing insights into career pathways, and showcasing the opportunities available within our industry.   Then last night, we attended St Peter the Apostle High School in West Dunbartonshire, continuing our commitment to helping young people make informed career choices.   As a key service provider for East Renfrewshire Council, we believe in giving back to the communities we work in by supporting social and economic development. Valley Group had the pleasure of attending the The Electrical Industries Charity Glasgow Christmas Lunch today, a wonderful event filled with festive cheer and a powerful message of community support.   A huge thank you to Aico for hosting us—it was a privilege to join you at such an inspiring gathering. The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) does incredible work, providing much-needed assistance to electricians and their families during times of need. From supporting those unable to work due to illness to stepping in with financial aid, such as paying mortgages for families with sick children, their impact is life-changing.   It was heartwarming to hear the stories of those whose lives have been transformed by EIC’s support.
