What a day! 🚀
Today, the Women Empowering Defence Leadership Team came together to tackle one of our most exciting challenges yet: defining the key deliverables for WED’s ambitious 2025 strategic plan. 💡
The energy in the room was infectious, fuelled by bold ideas, laser-focused strategies, and a shared commitment to driving innovation and impact on a global scale. 🌍✨
Moments like this remind me of the power of collaboration, vision, and purpose. Together, we’ve laid the groundwork for a future full of growth, transformation, and meaningful change.
Here’s to the incredible journey ahead—2025, we’re coming for you! 🙌💪

Wellbeing Entrepreneur & Royal Air Force Veteran ☆ Delivering courses & retreats, empowering individuals & communities to take ownership of their mental wellbeing and live a life filled with joy! 🚀♥️
Lisa Rawlings MSc & I are so grateful to be nominated for the ‘Volunteer of the Year Award’, in the upcoming Celebrating Forces Families Awards 🎉
Even though we both had long careers in the Royal Air Force (RAF), we met less than 4 years ago!
In that time we have opened 3 veteran support hubs throughout South Wales and launched Female Veterans Alliance - a social enterprise providing a platform of support & advocacy for female veterans throughout the UK. Lisa is also the Chair of VAPC (Wales) and I sit on the board.
And we have achieved all of the above as volunteers, in addition to both of us working full time.
We find out at the end of January if we have shortlisted as finalists! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Just in case you have been under rock I thought I’d remind you of this by pulling out the big guns and creating you a very dramatic reel! 👇🏼
Mark your calendars: the IMHub Launch is happening on 19th February 2025 at the BHF Priory Centre#Barnsley
If your organisation has inclusion on the agenda this year (and let’s be honest, it should 👀), then this is THE event for you.
Let’s talk about building workplaces and communities that are truly neuroinclusive. Because, honestly, if not now… when?
2025 is a 9 Year (according to… someone with a very intense voice on my Reel).
The dramatic movie voice states that the number 9 symbolises completion, transformation, and letting go of what no longer serves you.
All sounds a bit deep, doesn’t it? (To be honest I not so secretly love all this shiz! 😂)
But honestly, whether you believe it or not, if it means 2025 is the perfect time to shake things up and do better, I’m all for it. After all, there are worse things to believe in (like pineapple on pizza #YAK#JustWrong).
So, why not let this be the year your organisation transforms?
Leave the outdated stuff behind, and build workplaces that work for everyone.
And wait for it… Did I mention our Launch Event is FREE?
Oh, and there’s FREE lunch too, courtesy of our Silver Sponsor BHF Priory Centre
Now, any local organisations worth their Yorkshire weight in salt can’t possibly turn that down, reyt?
It’s practically a crime against the community. 👀
