In Tanzania, there are 80,000 children living with HIV under the age of 15. Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, a ViiV Healthcare Positive Action Paediatric Breakthrough Partner, works closely with children and adolescents to ensure young people are enrolled and retained in HIV care. This collaboration brings together the expertise of all partners to positively impact young lives in countries where the HIV epidemic remains a significant challenge. Along with GSK, we are committed to improving equitable access to medicines in lower-income countries. While it is great to see our efforts have been recognised in the 2024 Access to Medicine Index, we know it will take the broader community to come together if we are to end high burden diseases like #HIV. What will it take to end the #HIV epidemic? The answer is far from simple, but what we know for sure is that we must continue to work alongside our community partners in everything we do. This week, we hosted our 11th Youth Summit & 26th Community Summit in Denver, Colorado, an opportunity for us to connect with community leaders across the US to continue making progress on what we once thought was impossible. We partnered with Princess Jauan D., who helped us bring the atmosphere to life for those who couldn't attend.
