Vision for Bangladesh...Eliminating Avoidable Blindness especially in the children of the Tea Gardens of Bangladesh.
About us
Vision for Bangladesh was started in 2017 by Rachel Andrews, an NHS Ophthalmic Nursing Sister, after her first visit to Bangladesh in 2006 and on going voluntary work till 2017.. Now a Registered Charity, with a board of 7 trustees, we work closely with Moulvibazar BNSB Eye Hospital in the Sylhet region. The charity is entirely funded by donations and we're grateful for every penny given to such an important cause. Donations are used to pay for sight-saving surgery for the Tea Garden children/adults in Bangladesh whose extreme poverty and social exclusion leaves them without any modern healthcare and avoidable blindness.
