A glimpse into the future of EU dairy farming... 🔮 The EU agricultural outlook, published annually, projects that by 2035, the number of dairy cows in the EU will fall by -1.04%, yet milk yields will increase by 0.90%, leading to an overall decrease in total dairy cow milk production of -0.14%. 🥛 Meanwhile, the cheese and whey production stream is expected to absorb around 46% of the EU milk pool by 2035, compared to 44% in the period 2022-2024.
