  • 📣Without wishing the month away already did you know that 1st March marks Zero Discrimination Day where the UN celebrates the right of everyone to live a full and productive life—and live it with dignity. The month of March also highlights several different Diversity, Equity and Inclusion campaigns* 👉Womens History Month 👉National Wheelchair User day 1st March 👉International Womens Day March 8th 👉Neurodiversity Celebration Week 17th to 23rd March 👉International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination 21st March These are all areas that are worthy of our attention so we have chosen March as the month to launch our latest DE&I Report.   • AI in Recruitment: Excited or still nervous 😨 We are interested to hear from Talent Acquisition teams and Hiring Managers as to how you plan to embrace AI in your hiring processes in 2025. We've just had a report through from Firefish Software, that looks at how recruitment agencies intend to use AI in their business and it's interesting to see how this differs from Talent Acquisition Teams. We know there can be a nervousness around using it in the interview process for fear of bias and discrimination but in a time where budgets are tight and time to hire is so important, could it help with other areas of the recruitment process?   • How to move past rejection............. A hard pill to swallow? You can't always control everything in your life and you won't always get what you want. Perhaps like the saying goes, 'Things happen for a reason'. So when it comes to job interviews: 👉 Ask for feedback and don't take it to heart. It's constructive and should help you to improve. Make sure to follow up if you don't hear back from the interviewer.  👉 Learn from your slip-ups, go back over your interview techniques and adjust your CV (if needs be). 👉 Get back out there and don't lose faith in yourself. There is a job out there that is suited to you and you will find it. And remember: The job seeking and interview process is a two-way thing. The interviewer has to impress you as much as you have to impress them. Rejection helps us grow and realise what we do and don't want from a lot of things in life. It teaches us valuable lessons and helps us reflect. Use it as a tool, not something to be afraid of!
