  • Almost 100 people have embarked upon apprenticeships this year through the County Council’s Levy Share programme, delivered by Warwickshire Skills Hub. The programme allows Warwickshire County Council to share part of its apprenticeship levy funds to help businesses take on apprentices by covering the full training costs associated with an apprenticeship. It gives the apprentices their first steps towards a fulfilling career and their employers the opportunity to grow and train their own talent from within. If you are a Levy Paying Business you can join us in supporting local Warwickshire businesses by donating a portion of your levy and help drive innovation, growth, and economic prosperity within our region. They coordinated responses to incidents and ensured public safety in gusts predicted to be up to 90mph in some parts of the country. Warwickshire County Council’s Highways team also received 185 calls to fallen trees and worked tirelessly over the weekend to clear roads and remove fallen debris and trees to ensure that Warwickshire roads remained passible and safe.
