Last week, our society hosted a series of exclusive events designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of J.P. Morgan and its operations within global markets. The event commenced with an insightful keynote from Sheel Shah, CFA , who shared a comprehensive overview of the business landscape. Following this, a distinguished panel of female professionals discussed their academic journeys, highlighting the transition from university to fulfilling careers at J.P. Morgan. They also shared valuable insights into the dynamic roles within the firm’s markets division. Anoushka Maini , a representative from J.P. Morgan, then offered a detailed overview of the firm’s application process, equipping attendees with essential guidance. The evening concluded with networking drinks at Benugo, fostering connections between students and industry professionals. We extend our sincere gratitude to J.P. Glimpses of the OC&C Strategy Consultants Case Workshop in collaboration with Warwick Consulting Society, attracting 50+ attendees! Last week, we were thrilled to host an engaging case workshop where attendees tackled real business challenges, sharpened their analytical skills with guidance from OC&C Strategy Consultants, and gained insights into the management consulting field. The day wrapped up with a networking session at Benugo Bar & Kitchen, where students and consultants connected over shared experiences and career journeys. Last week we hosted an incredible networking event with our sponsor Gleacher Shacklock in collaboration with Warwick Finance Societies. This event was an opportunity for students to learn about corporate finance directly from industry experts. A special thank you to our speakers! Martin Falkner and Sirsa Majumder spoke about Gleacher Shacklock’s boutique approach, emphasizing its focus on top-tier corporate advice and unique opportunities for junior staff across M&A, restructuring, and capital markets. We also heard from Anabelle Anastasia C. about her journey from intern to graduate to analyst in a boutique environment. Lastly, thank you to Deimante Lenktyte for organising this event and providing key tips for the application process.
