About us
Welcome to WRE, the industry association for organisations involved in water reuse across Europe. Water reuse is playing an increasingly important role in the pursuit of sustainable water resources management and there is strong growth in industrial, agricultural, and municipal reuse schemes across Europe. Our mission is to create a collective identity for the European water reuse sector and promote an innovative and dynamic water reuse industry. We provide stimulating opportunities for knowledge exchange, advocacy, and education on water reuse.

Despite the rainy weather, our conference wrapped up on a high note with an insightful technical tour of the Jourdain project for indirect potable reuse. A huge thank you to VENDEE EAU and Veolia for hosting Water Reuse Europe delegates for this technical visit and giving us the opportunity to discover one of Europe’s flagship projects on indirect potable reuse. Many thanks to all our speakers for their excellent presentations, which covered the full spectrum of water reuse applications and greatly showcased the latest advancements in the sector. We also extend our gratitude to our sponsors, Resistomap and Kemira, as well as to all our exhibitors and delegates, for contributing to the success of our event. We look forward to seeing you all again at our future events! #LesSables2024 #WaterReuse #Sustainability #Innovation #WaterManagement #JourdainProject
