Project update: Lockside Walk, Clayton Le Moors 🔨 We can now share images on-site as the homes are taking shape! We are working with Onward Homes to produce 127 properties bordering the Leeds, Liverpool canal on the Clayton Triangle in Clayton-le-moors. It’s already month three of the Creams Mill Skills Academy!⚒️ Our Creams Mill and Hall Lane construction programme will create £300,000 worth of social value within the local Bolton community through: 👷♀️ Job and apprenticeship creation 🏗️ Work experience placements 🤝 Support for community projects What’s more, the Skills Academy will add a further £30,000 to this investment👏 For those who find that traditional educational paths don’t suit their learning style, The Skills Academy provides an alternative route to discover rewarding careers in construction. We are helping to shape these student’s futures and open doors to new possibilities within our industry. Did you know our hard work doesn’t stop at house building? We are creating spaces for growth 🌱 Alongside our housing developments and placemaking initiatives, we also create purpose-built commercial spaces for businesses large and small. We are supporting local businesses to bring them the perfect base within their community whether that be offices, retail or leisure. Our current Watson Spaces project at Green Street in Radcliffe comprises of 13,000 sq. ft for mixed commercial use as well as 132 new homes. The commercial use involves office and retail space, as well as food and beverage units. The project forms part of a wider masterplan for Radcliffe town centre, bringing much-needed new homes and employment opportunities – all on a brownfield site 🏗️♻️ #Watson #regeneration #commercialspaces

Training the next generation of our workforce is vital to developing quality homes🏘️ This is why we are working with Bolton Council at our Creams Mill development to provide our skills talent centre initiative, providing young people with the training they need to succeed! 🛠️ Working with our team and local business, Boscow Nursery who have provided land for the initiative, these youngsters will be completing plastering, tiling and bricklaying training. They will all receive their Level 1 in Health & Safety prior to starting on-site 👏 #construction #housebuilders #training #Bolton 

Places make a community. So, how are we doing more than just building homes at our Creams Mill development? 🏘️255 new homes across the Hall Lane and Creams Mill site. Out of the 178 new homes at Creams Mill, 154 of these will be available under affordable tenure. 🌍All homes will be planet-friendly. They will feature sustainable and highly efficient air source cylinders to produce hot water. Solar PV panels will also generate electricity and reduce energy bills for residents. 🌳Brand-new woodland and public spaces will be created. 🛶We are restoring the Manchester, Bolton, and Bury canal for people to enjoy scenic walks. UK house prices have hit the highest annual growth since 2022. Increasing by 3.2% in September 2024, this was well above the 2.4% annual growth recorded in August. So how can we help more people get on the property ladder? The clock is ticking for the UK to reach the government’s aim for 1.5 million houses in the next five years, and we must take this opportunity to invest in affordable housing. Building high-quality, affordable homes will always be our top priority.
