Ramadan Kareem! 🌙 This week across our head office and factories, we've been hosting Lunch & Learn sessions focused on Ramadan awareness for our staff. With about 13% of our diverse workforce being Muslim, it's important for us to acknowledge and celebrate this significant time. This year, Ramadan is expected to begin at sunset on Friday, February 28th, and will last for 31 days, concluding at sunset on Sunday, March 30th. Ramadan is a period of fasting from dawn to sunset, prayer and reflection. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment here at Merit, and these sessions aimed to educate everyone and create a supportive atmosphere where all of our team members can celebrate together. #Ramadan #Inclusion

Earlier today, we hosted our annual ‘David Llewellyn Apprenticeship Award’. This event shines a spotlight on our exceptional apprentices and recognises their hard work and dedication, finishing with the announcement of the new winner 🏆 We are thrillled to announce that Katie Priest is this year’s award winner! Established in 2019, this award serves to honour our esteemed colleague, David Llewellyn, who sadly passed away to cancer that same year. David was a highly respected and valued member of our team, and a much-loved friend. This award celebrates the apprentice that best demonstrates the attributes as shown by David, including: honesty, kindness and a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the job at hand. Throwback Thursday 🎉 In 2023, we worked closely with Piramal Pharma Solutions to design and deliver its state-of-the-art ADC manufacturing facility in Grangemouth, Scotland. Spanning 7,000m2 across three floors, the facility includes Grade C production areas, modern offices and high-tech Quality Control laboratory. To bring this vision to life, we used our FLEXI POD® solution to ensure a faster, more efficient project delivery without compromising on quality. Together with Piramal Pharma Solutions, we delivered a modern facility that advances life-changing therapies for patients.
