Projects that change the game
About us
We believe that sporting events, music and culture have a big role to play in the fight against climate change, not just in how we operate, but how we influence behaviour. We want to change the game in terms of how venues and events are run and in doing so, build a confident communication through customer experience, that will enable millions of people to better understand climate change and challenges affecting our fragile world today. We specialise in the equestrian world, from horse racing to polo and everything in between. Whether you are a multinational company or an individual yard owner, we can help you to be more resilient to climate change, protect biodiversity and minimise your impact on the environment.

We are very proud to have created this documentary film for the TBA and are excited to produce more with Seven Stripes in the near future 🎬🎥🌱🐎
We recently visited Peter and Emma Hockenhull's Shade Oak Stud in Shropshire to highlight the benefits of greener practices and the costs savings made through the use of the Stud Farm Carbon Calculator, in partnership with ADAS with support of the The Racing Foundation. To watch the full video, visit: https://lnkd.in/eKPHqJRS Since the Stud Farm Carbon Calculator was launched a year ago, a growing number of stud farms including Flat and National Hunt breeders, both in the commercial and owner-breeder sectors have signed up to use the digital tool, which is the first tool developed to specifically support breeders with baselining the carbon footprint of their stud farm and modelling scenarios for reducing their future negative impact on the environment. It also enables breeders to examine their use of resources across their breeding operations, with targeted changes to land management practices and energy usage likely to cut carbon emissions and save energy costs. With thanks to White Griffin Ltd Ruth Dancer MA Hons Cantab CEnv MIEMA Sarah Wynn Seven Stripes

We couldn't be more proud and delighted for the team at York Racecourse for winning the annual The Racecourse Association Ltd Green Award for excellence in environmental sustainability. 🤩 🤩 🤩 🤩 Whilst this award is specifically centred around the amazing work achieved with the Bustardthorpe Stand development, which represented true dedication to building sustainability through the use of recycled materials, rainwater harvesting, green spaces and solar panels, the team have been trailblazers in sustainability for more than 7 years across their whole operation. With the opportunity to now apply for additional funding from the The Racing Foundation we and the team will be able to take their journey to the next level and look forward to engaging race goers ever more in the inspiring, life-affirming work that is living with a care for the natural world that our horses so depend on. Cheers to you all, especially William Derby, James Brennan and Amy Swales, you truly deserve this accolade and we know that with your prize, you will make a real difference. 🥂 🥳 🌱 #sustainability #horsesfornature #bestteam #goodnewsday

We had plenty to smile about at today’s World Horse Welfare conference, which addressed the topic ‘What is a good life for a horse?’ 🐎💚 Aside from the thoroughly insightful presentations, the Chair launched their Environmental Strategy at the start of the day, which is the culmination of a year’s hard work since last year’s conference dedicated to the topic. Ruth Dancer MA Hons Cantab CEnv MIEMA said “A good life for horses must include a healthy environment. There is no horse welfare without a consideration for protecting the natural world that horses depend on.” 🌱 The strategy, which can be found on their website, addresses a range of topics both nationally and internationally. The Green Team, which has been led by Jenny Fernando, will be delivering projects on their rescue farms, in their visitor centres, through the marketing teams and internationally, centred around the full cross section of environmental best practice, including a commitment to Net Zero. We are so proud and privileged to have supported them during this past year and couldn’t be happier to see the strategy out there today. Here’s to an exciting, inspiring and action filled 2025! 🥂 #GoodLife24 #sustainability #equestriansfornature

WE ARE FINALISTS! 🤩🎉 🥳 The equine carbon calculator has been shortlisted in the 'creating impact' category for the Green Gown Awards and we couldn't be prouder. The equine carbon calculator was created through a collaboration of Farm Carbon Toolkit, White Griffin Ltd, Hartpury University and Hartpury College Sparsholt College Group and Derby College who are responsible for the nomination. Since its launch, more than 2,500 equestrians have already accessed the calculator and the team are so proud of the difference it is already making in raising awareness, and supporting the equine community in contributing positively to the environment. 🌱🌎 We will have our fingers firmly crossed on the night, but with so many great submissions, it will be great to share a celebratory evening with other changemakers. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 #sustainability #equestriansfornature #climatechange #greengownawards Check out the details at this page 👇 https://lnkd.in/exn-k7kX Jon Collins Lizzy Parker Rachel Collins Mark Treagust

How do you make your product in a way that is compatible with a healthy environment? Ask the finalists of the first ever equestrian green supplier awards at this week's British Showjumping gala awards. Judged by White Griffin and awarded on the night by Ruth Dancer MA Hons Cantab CEnv MIEMA the winner was....... Charles Owen 👏 🤩 🏆 Impressed by the way the company have looked into ALL aspects of their impact on the environment, we chose this application as our worthy winner due to their broad range of activities already underway which significantly reduce their negative impact on their environment, including: ⚡ 100% renewable energy, of which 30% generated by onsite solar as part of their Net Zero commitment 🌧️ Rainwater harvesting at the factory to provide the water needed in production 🌱 Onsite wildflowers and over 7,000 trees planted to date 📦 Commitment to both recycled packaging and the use of recycled materials in their helmets as part of next level innovations Of worthy mention are the other two finalists, Blue Chip Feed Ltd and Prestige Italia SpA who both also have a hefty array of measures in place, including relocating their factory 100 miles closer to reduce mileage, removing 85% of plastics from production and conducting carbon footprint assessments of their products. Whilst Charles Owen took the trophy on the night, when the supply chain gets greener, everyone's a winner and we look forward to next year's entrants showcasing their hard work, alongside the new category of green event/venue.
