As we look ahead to 2025, heat networks are turning up the temperature on decarbonisation efforts 🔥 Six newly designated heat network zones in the UK are set to revolutionise how we heat our buildings. These zones will leverage trailblazing technology, from capturing waste heat to repurposing industrial by-products, to deliver low-carbon, low-cost heating while moving us closer to net-zero. With construction beginning in 2026, new developments in these areas must now be designed for future connection to heat networks.
