Lisa Su is the first woman to ever be named TIME CEO of the Year. Iconic. As CEO of AMD, Lisa is literally building the future with microchips. Lisa also made history in 2020 when she was the number one paid CEO in the world. I wrote Lisa's full story earlier this year. Our research with @peanutapp asked 8,000 returning mothers what support they wanted when they went back to work after a baby, and found BIG gaps between their wishes and what they were actually offered. Find out how to flip the ‘motherhood penalty’ into The Motherhood Reward in our full report: https://lnkd.in/evaWgTMj

The gender pay gap is widening! Which is why it is important to keep striving for equality. Together we can make a difference and the organisations we are working with at Karren Brady's Women in Business & Tech Expo are making a difference by looking at what women need to be supported in the workplace to thrive and progress, starting with inclusive recruitment and female friendly policies and networks. Creating networks where women can meet and support each other are really important and the partners we are working with such as SheCanCode are doing a fantastic job at this, helping women to stay in their chosen career and level up the gap: https://lnkd.in/epRDyqk7 Well done everyone. 🙌 Together we can make a difference and every little step helps to close the gap. #genderpaygap #inclusiverecruitment #closethegap #womeninleadership #diversity
🌟 Today is Equal Pay Day in the UK 🌟 This marks the day when, due to the gender pay gap, women effectively stop earning compared to men and work for free for the rest of the year. The UK’s mean gender pay gap is now 11.3%, up from 10.4% last year—reversing a decade-long trend of narrowing the gap. This widening disparity means that on average, every month working women take home £631 less than men. This highlights ongoing challenges, including unequal pay, caregiving responsibilities, and fewer opportunities for women in higher-paying roles. Equal pay is not just a women's issue; it’s an economic and social imperative. Let’s push for policies that close the gap—like salary transparency, better parental leave, and support for caregivers. Women deserve equal pay for equal work. 💼💪 Join the conversation and get involved at https://lnkd.in/eEk6rUCJ . #EqualPayDay #GenderPayGap #JointheMovement
