We’re thrilled to be joining an inspiring panel for a discussion on the importance of supporting women’s groups in the design industry at LiGHT Expo London later this month, taking place at Business Design Centre. Thank you ORGATEC Cologne for inviting WOD to attend this year's fair which was buzzing - with each of the halls providing inspiration and intellectual nourishment for the workplace design community. Here's just a snapshot of some of the products we witnessed... ACTIU's display focused on products on 'Life friendly' spaces showcasing an array of options to create stunning workspace setups. Alongside their new range of booths the circular installation of dismantled parts of their products formed an interesting storyboard.   BuzziSpace created an oasis of calm with its acoustic BuzziBrella; König + Neurath AG showcased some interesting design concepts; and Molo Design's concertina-style freestanding partitions, seating and lighting solutions made from paper or textile were stunning.   Celebrating its 50th anniversary, fabric manufacturer, Camira introduced ReSku 2.0. A re-creation of the original made from old army jumpers but now including blend of closed loop recycled wool and renewable flax.   The impressive stands from Sedus and Flokk were packed with visitors checking out their latest developments; Humanscale introduced its first lounge chair incorporating superior ergonomics with craftsmanship; and Ahrend also highlighted its commitment to create workspaces that are both vitalising and environmentally responsible.   The Circular Biomaterials focus area provided a great opportunity to learn about new, evolving solutions for workplace design. Vepa the furniture factory, like many exhibitors, showcased its commitments to sustainability. We loved Romanian furniture manufacturer, ASKIA Furniture's practical demonstration - they left the stand carpet on the roll ready to be reused in the future.   Thanks also to Orgatec for inviting WOD to join the design tour of the exhibition - so many interesting exhibits and displays. It also provided the chance to meet up with many WOD supporters.
