🔵 Today, the European Commission, through its Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (#HERA), delivered 10,000 doses of the MVA-BN® #vaccine to #Uganda, strengthening efforts against the ongoing #mpox outbreak. This is part of a larger commitment, with over 605,000 vaccine doses pledged to the Africa CDC via the #teameurope initiative. Laurent Muschel, Head of HERA, emphasized: “we made a commitment to address the mpox outbreak in close cooperation with our partners. We cannot fight these health threats alone – solidarity between continents is essential".
