Who’s the business
Zanda is partnering with a high growth B2C SaaS business based in London. Having recently completed a series A fundraise; they have ambitious global growth plans and are looking for a Financial Controller who can help them scale and grow internationally. With an ARR of £12million, they are currently operating across the UK, US and Europe and are growing at over 40% year on year.
Reporting to the newly appointed CFO, you will play a key role in evolving the financial process and controls and leading them through their first audit, whilst building a best-in-class finance function that can support rapid growth.
What experiences you will gain
Producing the management reports and KPIs, whilst implementing better processes and outputs for higher quality insights to support decision making
Managing the month end close process and implementing new working methods to increase accuracy and reduce the current working day reporting times
Producing the statutory accounts and leading the year end audit process
Managing the annual budget and rolling forecasting process
Identifying ways to continuously improve the systems and processes
Managing the cashflow forecasting and VAT reporting
Assisting with international expansion on legislative matters
Providing financial support across the business, presenting, and communicating critical financial matters when required
Building strong relationships with the external stakeholders including the auditors, investors, and banks
Managing and leading the team; creating a best-in-class finance function that can help the company scale
What background should you have before you press apply!
Qualified Accountant (ACA)
Experience within a fast-paced startup / scale up business essential
Experience building and leading a strong finance team
Excellent communicator who can advise and challenge senior non finance stakeholders
Strong technical accounting knowledge
