About us
In 1991 Hardox® Distributor Ireland was formed through an introduction to SSAB and their range of Hardox® Wear Plate. Bruce began to market, sell and process Hardox® using the Bruce product range as a flagship for promoting the steel throughout Ireland. Since 2003, Bruce Engineering was appointed the official Hardox® Wearparts centre for Ireland, now supplying to a variety of different industries with unique requirements and solutions to suit! Having successfully built the HARDOX brand in Ireland for over two decades and the name BRUCE having become synonymous with Hardox Wearparts, Bruce Wearparts was established in 2016 - a sub brand of Bruce Materials Processing Solutions, launching during the Hillhead exhibition. Bruce Wearparts have and continue to supply a wide range of markets including cement, mining, crushing, screening, demolition, scrap, recycling, agriculture, marine, truck body manufacturers and many other material handling industries. Still based at the original site in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone we operate a moderate sized and well equipped manufacturing facility. Operating on a 3.75 Acre site with: 6000 sq ft Assembly Workshop 4800 sq ft Fabrication Workshop (plasma & gas cutting, pressing, drilling) 1200 Sq Ft Traditional Machine shop (milling, drilling, lathes) 1500 sq ft CNC Machine shop (milling, cutting) NEW JRS BRONX FLIGHT FORMER MACHINERY The manufacturing facility is supported by our own in house design office providing modern 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings.
