A huge thank you to McLaughlin Construction who have provided a MASSIVE donation to our Equal Supported Employment in North Ayrshire - Selection Box Appeal 2024. 🎅🏻🎄 A special thanks to Niall Iain Wright for organising the selection box donation and also to every single one of the staff members - we really do appreciate it! 👏🏻⭐ We have received just over 3300 selection boxes this year and these will be delivered to children who may not receive a gift for Christmas, all thanks to the overwhelming support from our local businesses! 🎁🍫 A huge thank you to every single employer who has donated to our selection box appeal! ⭐

This morning we had a visit from Steven McBlain from North Ayrshire Council's Equal Supported Employment North Ayrshire team, who popped in to pick up the goodies we're donating to the Selection Box Appeal 2024.   It was great to hear of the huge number of selection boxes the team has gathered in this year (and now have to wrap up!), and quite moving to get a little insight into just how many children will get a gift as a result.   A huge well-done to Steven and the team for running this appeal again this year, and helping make Christmas a little more enjoyable for so many.

A massive thank you to Linda Birch and the team at Sainsbury's - Irvine for their very generous donation to our Equal Supported Employment North Ayrshire - Selection Box Appeal 2024. 🎅🏻 Thanks to Linda for organising the selection box donation and also to the staff members pictured below - we really do appreciate it! 👏🏻 The closing date for selection box donations is fast approaching so please let me know if you are able to donate and I can arrange a pickup or collection date and time. A huge thank you to Margaret Anderson and all of the team at Sharp UK - Prestwick for their very generous donation of selection boxes to our Equal Supported Employment North Ayrshire - Selection Box Appeal 2024. 🎅🏻 Thanks to Mags for organising the selection box donation and also to Marion for being pictured alongside the selection boxes. 👏🏻 We are on track to deliver almost 3000 selection boxes to children across North Ayrshire, including Social Work, Women's Aid, Food Larders, and the Homeless Unit where children may not have received a gift for Christmas, all thanks to the overwhelming support from our local businesses! 🎁🍫 A busy couple of days ahead with lots of wrapping to be done! 🎅🏻🎄

Great visit to meet with Eddie Gibb of Ardrossan Community Sports Hub - Winton Park earlier this afternoon. ⚽️ Eddie has kindly offered his support to the next cohort of our Equal Supported Employment North Ayrshire Heads Up! Training Academy. This collaboration will see 4 of our candidates attend a placement there on a two day per week basis over a 13 week period duration whilst also attending our office 1 day per week to gain SQA accreditation such as the Volunteer Award, Dealing with Work Situations Award, and Customer Service Award. The recent upgrade, including the layout of a new synthetic pitch and new floodlights, is looking fantastic and will be a great facility to the local community! 👏
