Aker Solutions Graduate Visit We recently welcomed graduates from Aker Solutions to Grain LNG. Aker Solutions deliver integrated solutions, products, and services to the global energy industry, driving low-carbon oil and gas production while developing renewable solutions for future energy needs. During their visit, the graduates explored our operations and learned about our impressive site and how our day-to-day operations work. For many graduates, it was their first opportunity to see such a large LNG facility, including jetties, LNG tanks, compressors, motors, and more. Climbing to the top of the LNG tanks was a particularly special experience. We're happy to collaborate. Recently, our apprentice Reece White presented his journey through the Grain LNG Apprenticeship Programme to an impressive audience of 15,000 people across three team calls. Reece discussed his experiences, the valuable skills he's learned, and how the apprenticeship is shaping his future. His presentation highlighted the real-world impact of our apprenticeship scheme and served as an excellent resource for young individuals contemplating their career paths. It’s fantastic to see our apprentices like Reece stepping up to share their growth and inspire others. Safety comes first at Grain LNG. At Grain LNG, we prioritise the safety of all who visit and work at our site. Every visitor is required to complete a brief safety induction as soon as they arrive. Why it matters: Safety is a collective responsibility. It’s essential for ensuring the wellbeing of everyone on site and enables every individual to contribute to a safer environment. What we do: We strictly follow safety protocols. Everyone must adhere to instructions from their host and obey all site signage. We prohibit items that could ignite gases from entering the site, and our rules are designed to ensure that gas remains securely contained. How we achieve safety: We commit to behavioural safety, understanding our tendencies towards risky behaviours like taking shortcuts or ignoring hazards. We look out for one another, calling attention to any unsafe practices and helping everyone adhere to safety rules. Reflecting on the impact of Phase 3 at Grain LNG! 🔧 Completed in 2010, Phase 3 was a key development for our terminal: 🏗️ Increased storage capacity: We raised our total storage to 1,000,000m3.  🔋 Significant contribution to UK's Energy: Can supply 25% of the UK’s average gas demand.  🚢 Updated facilities: The addition of a second jetty now accommodates Qmax ships, improving our operational capabilities. Grain LNG's Phase 2  In 2008, Grain LNG achieved a major expansion with Phase 2, adding three large tanks, each capable of holding 190,000m³. This significant upgrade increased our storage facilities and capacity.  The site's expansion attracted key industry partners, broadening our customer base and enhancing our operational scope.
