About us
The Placements Team is part of the University’s Careers and Employability Team and we specialise in, and support, credit-bearing placement activities across the University’s Schools and Departments. This includes the Professional Placement Year (PPY), shorter summer placements and mandatory clinical/educational placements. Contact us The Placements Team are based in Carrington Room 207. In addition to PPY training programmes (central and school based), PPY central events and PPY Online Training on Blackboard, we offer 1:1 appointments which are all bookable on MyJobsOnline. Placement Appointments The team of Placement Coordinators have many years of experience in supporting students with their placement journey and we would be delighted to meet with you to discuss your placement plans and goals. Our confidential and impartial advice is available to all students, and we also offer remote appointments, via phone or MS Teams.
