Very clean and comfortable stay. Complete cooking facilities and well planned food storage location. Spacious communal kitchen and bathroom. Warm and responsible hotel staff. The room is a bit smaller and the room heating seems to be closed regularly. But overall I still like this accommodation very much 😄

We stayed here for just one night having left the dreadful accommodation in Haast that we were booked into. It was a lucky find as we had a large suite complete with lounge, dining area, kitchenette and washing machine & tumble drier neatly tucked into the bathroom. Although quite a big resort our rooms were quiet. There are plenty of facilities on site, but we didn't use any of them so cannot comment.

Te Wanaka Lodge is a centrally located hotel within 300m of the town center on foot. Rooms are just spacious enough to stay with luggage but a bit tight. There is a shared kitchen, fireplace and relax area within the complex where you are given a cooked breakfast. Breakfast a little on the light side but good enough. This shared space is quite spacious and hospitable. Great value for money.

We didn't eat breakfast, so I bought drinks and got one free voucher. I do n’t know if I can add an extra bed, but the room is really large, with a balcony and a very comfortable sofa 鸡 ️ coffee table, parking lot, location is not great, if you go to the central business district about 15 minutes walk.

The loch is a bit old, but the experience is good. Go to the lake for 8 minutes, then walk to the lonely tree for about 20 minutes, and walk after dinner is just right. It is also close to the supermarket restaurant. There are two sitting rooms where you can sit down and read. There is a small balcony in the room, you can see the snowy mountains across the lake.

We were looking for a good 2 bedroom self catering cottage or apartment and were pretty staggered by the high prices for a five day stay in early March 2024. Eventually we found the Clearbrook Motel online and were pleased to snap up a two bedroom apartment because it had everything we wanted and offered more bang for our buck than alternatives we'd seen elsewhere. Having our own clothes washer and dryer was also very welcome. Price was not cheap but for this town it was very good value for money. Location is excellent with shops, restaurants and lake within 100 - 200 metres and we had a lovely view from our living room over a babbling brook and even snow capped mountains. Reception staff and cleaning staff were extremely nice, respectful and helpful.

The view facing the house is very beautiful. It faces the lake directly. You can cross the road to the lakeside and overlook the lonely trees in the distance. The room is very quiet, comfortable and bright. The six of us sat on the spacious terrace and drank tea and chatted in the living room. Unfortunately, it was only Stayed for one night; there is a Chinese restaurant run by Cantonese people downstairs. It was so delicious. We ordered green bone fish, Phnom Penh abalone, mutton and drank wine. It cost 1,080 yuan for 7 people; if you stay a few more days, you can have it yourself The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; I will definitely stay here again in the future. Awesome hotel! The front desk was very warm and friendly! The room is large and spacious, the kitchen is complete, the living room is comfortable, and the door is full of flowers. The hotel is on a hillside and has a good view. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk to a tree.

Quite a big resort on the shore of Lake Wanaka, a pleasant walk away from the town. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, ground floor apartment which was a good size, well furnished, and well equipped, with a smashing view across the lawn to the lake and mountains beyond. The furnishing is a little dated but other than that, it was all comfortable. We weren't booked in for breakfast - it was good to walk into town first thing - but did book dinner one evening, and that was more than acceptable.

The location is CBD and close to shops and restaurants. If you can't lug bags then ask for a downstairs room. The bedrooms are quite small, and there is only a microwave and really nowhere to store bags. Good wi-fi reception was a plus. Clean and tidy.
