🇦🇺Brisbane | Authentic Italian delights🇮🇹
I recently had a dinner at Julius Pizzeria, an Italian restaurant located in the vibrant South Brisbane neighborhood. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat.
Julius Pizzeria is a cozy and inviting establishment that captures the essence of Italian charm. The warm, rustic decor and dimly lit ambiance create an intimate atmosphere that transports you straight to the heart of Italy.
To begin our culinary journey, we indulged in their “Number 1” pizza topped with parma ham. The salty and delicate parma ham paired beautifully with the rich tomato sauce and melted cheese, resulting in a mouthwatering symphony of flavors that left us craving more.
For our main course, we ventured into their pasta selection. We opted for a classic pasta with mushroom and truffle sauce, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was cooked to perfection, maintaining its delightful al dente texture. The sauce was rich and flavorful, coating each strand of pasta beautifully. It was evident that the dish was crafted with care and attention to detail.
The combination of delightful ambiance, mouthwatering pizzas, and exquisite pasta dishes made it a standout Italian eatery in South Brisbane.

Young and trendy Novotel in South Bank, Brisbane!
During our trip to Brisbane, we stayed at Novotel Brisbane South Bank, and I highly recommend this hotel! The hotel is located at 38 Cordelia St, which is very convenient. The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Bank Parklands, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, and other famous attractions are nearby and within walking distance.
**Location and facilities✨**
The location of the hotel is amazing! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of South Bank Parklands as soon as you step out of the hotel, and there are many great dining options nearby. The hotel is modern and stylish. The front desk staff are very friendly and efficient, and they greet you warmly every time you pass by the lobby, which makes you feel very welcome. This is a 4.5-star modern hotel.
**Room layout and comfort🏨**
The hotel rooms are modern and well-equipped. My favorite thing is the pod coffee machine in the room, which allows you to start your day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Our room was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and we felt very comfortable staying there. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which looks great, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to try it.
**Food and service🍽️**
The hotel's breakfast is worth mentioning, with a variety of fresh egg dishes to choose from, all made to order. We didn't dine at the hotel's restaurant, but we did order room service once and had the tiramisu, which was very good. Although it was a simple dessert, it was made with great care and left a lasting impression.
**Nearby recommendations🌆**
There are many fun places to visit near Novotel South Bank. South Bank Parklands is a five-minute walk away, and there are many places for families to play in the water. In addition, there are cultural venues such as the Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, and Queensland Museum. There is also a water light show at night in South Bank, which is very romantic! There are many great restaurants nearby, such as Lamberts Restaurant, Rogue Bistro, and Betty's Burgers, each with a unique flavor that you shouldn't miss.
**Minor drawbacks🤔**
The only minor drawback is that parking is charged at $32 per night, but considering the parking situation in downtown Brisbane, this is understandable.
Overall, Novotel Brisbane South Bank is definitely a great value for money choice, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Brisbane!
A day in Brisbane
#travel #australia My recent trip to Brisbane was nothing short of extraordinary, and one of the highlights was exploring the vibrant South Bank and the iconic Star building.
South Bank, nestled along the Brisbane River, is a cultural hub that offers something for everyone. I started my day by strolling along the Clem Jones Promenade, where the stunning river views set a perfect tone for the morning. The weather was delightful, with a light breeze rustling through the trees as joggers and cyclists passed by.
The South Bank Parklands are a true oasis in the city, blending lush greenery with urban charm. I made a quick stop at Streets Beach, a man-made beach with crystal-clear waters and golden sand, surrounded by tropical landscaping. It was fascinating to see families enjoying a beach day right in the heart of the city.
After exploring the parklands, I headed to the Nepalese Peace Pagoda. Its intricate wood carvings and tranquil atmosphere were a pleasant surprise. For lunch, I chose one of the many riverside cafes, indulging in a delicious plate of fish and chips while watching ferries glide along the Brisbane River.

Australia Travel Notes | South Bank Parklands, Brisbane.
On the south bank of the Brisbane River lies a verdant waterfront promenade - South Bank Parklands. It stretches out leisurely, facing the bustling CBD across the river, weaving a harmonious chapter of nature and the city. As a historical witness to the 1988 World Expo, the only remaining relic of the Nepal Pavilion in the park quietly tells the glory of the past. This 16-hectare park not only has the delicate touch of artificial beaches, the romantic skyline of the slowly rotating Ferris wheel, and the laughter-filled amusement park, but every place is gently embraced by vibrant green plants.
For locals, South Bank Parklands is an ideal destination for leisure time. They are keen to spread picnic blankets in this greenery, light up the cooking smoke, share the gifts of nature with family and friends, and taste the leisure and comfort of life. It is an excellent place to deeply experience the essence of Brisbane culture and is highly recommended to every traveler eager to explore.

❤️ About Brisbane:
Brisbane is Australia's third-largest city, the capital of Queensland, and a major port. Situated along the banks of the Brisbane River and near the Tropic of Capricorn, the city enjoys a subtropical climate, earning it the nickname "City of Sunshine."
During my visit to Brisbane, I explored not only the Gold Coast but also took a leisurely stroll around the city center, discovering several picturesque spots perfect for photo opportunities.👇
✅ Brisbane City Hall: A stunning example of neoclassical architecture, built in 1930 using Queensland's unique brown-yellow sandstone and timber. It is the largest and most magnificent city hall in Australia.
✅ South Bank Parklands: Originally the site of the 1988 World Expo, South Bank Parklands has been transformed into a beautiful waterfront park with an artistic atmosphere. The park is filled with lush greenery, providing a serene escape from the city.
✅ Kangaroo Point: Contrary to its name, there are no kangaroos here. However, it offers breathtaking views of Brisbane's CBD, making it an ideal spot for capturing stunning photos.
