I spent 3 nights here and was pleasantly surprised by the cost and quality of the property. I stayed in an upstairs room which was large, clean and well equiped. I had a large double bed, lounge and bench area to work at. Staff were very friendly and the reception spoke enough English to cover all my needs. The breakfast was limited to one Western choice but that is to be expected. The premises is located some way from from Kanchanaburi town so a car would be needed. I had a noise problem in one room but staff moved me straight away. Overall a good 3 star property for a good price.

It is more suitable for business, within a three-minute walk from the bus station, newly opened, clean and odorless, the room is a little small. If you are traveling, it is recommended to stay by the river, which is over 200 with a swimming pool and a direct water platform.

The room is clean. The room is very spacious. Good service staff At first, our room couldn't connect to the internet on the TV. But the staff came to look at it for me, so I connected it and watched YouTube and Netflix comfortably. I didn't want to leave when I went to bed.

The hotel staff are friendly, especially the receptionist . Breakfast is okay not too much. The swimming pool at the 5 floor rooftop nice view. Hight recommend

This is a 3 star resort with a 5 star service. A hidden gem tucked in narrow alley. Don't get fooled by the simple entrance/reception. Amazing service and hospitality by resort owner, Chalee. The resort it self very quiet and secluded but yet close to all amenities. Breakfast was awesome for a 3 star. We usually don't eat at hotels but their restaurant food was so good, that we ended dining there most of the time and affordable too. Rooms are big and clean. One big pool and one small pool to choose from. We will definitely consider this place again.

I usually stay in international business hotels but with none obviously available in Kanchanaburi, we read TA reviews and chose Chez Bure. What a great hidden gem! Simple but effective decor, the room was perfect for a one night stay with hot water and a clean comfy bed. The service was lovely, with the team members always happy and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so generous. Free home made muffins, cookies and even snacks in the room! Breakfast was simple but filled a hole and was perfect. One final things I wish to highlight was how clean the room and all areas were. Better than some hotels I stay at! Overall highly recommended for a short stay.

Clean spacious room with balcony, great bed, good Wi-Fi, nice staff. Hotel is located near a gas station with a convenient store. 10-minute walk to a night food market. There is a limited parking lot available for guests with cars. Breakfast is really limited offering only fry eggs, cereal, bread and jam, salad, and instant coffee. Nevertheless, if I happen to be in Kanchanaburi again I will consider this hotel again.

I made a mistake and booked the River Kwai Hotel instead of the Glory River Kwai one. We eventually arrived at the hotel I booked and just to be clear, it has nothing to do with the river. It's not even near. Sandwiched in between a club and a rather suspicious massage parlour 😁 Anyway, the rooms are large, but rather old. The bed was okay, the pillows really comfortable. Curtains had to be fastened with a paperclip, hooks were missing. Air-conditioning worked very well, not blowing on your face and the temperature was well adjustable. But.... The bathroom!!!! That was really, really awful. Mould everywhere, yellow bathtub that used to be white, corroded taps, a shower curtain hanging in the bath taht had seen cleaner days. Stains of leakages all over the ceiling. In our friend's room the person above took a shower and all the water came splashing down in her bath. I even took pictures so you can see I'm not exaggerating. Breakfast was okay, egg station and toast, instant coffee or tea. The pool is nice.

Sky hotel. KANCHANABURI - clean basic rooms, with a great pool, Luke warm water on shower, and very hard beds. Bad lighting for shaving and makeup. No coffee or tea is supplied, but you have a kettle and 1 cup. Very large fridge. Breakfast is across the rd , good price for hotel and breakfast. Out of hotel turn right follow road and you get too the main road with shops, bars & restaurants .

Speaking of Kanchanaburi, you must think of rafts. This time, we will take you to sleep on a 2-storey raft by the River Kwai at The Tryst River Kwai. It is a very unique resort in itself, quiet, suitable for relaxation and charging the battery for the body. Sit in the bathtub in the room looking at the River Kwai flowing slowly. It feels really good. This time, we stayed in the River Vibe room, a 2-storey raft with a small pool. on the River Kwai very complete facilities There is a tub to soak in the room as well. Actually, this room can accommodate up to 6 people, suitable for bringing friends to open the party. For dinner, we ordered grilled pork to eat. The dipping sauce is really cool. Fragrant grilled pork with a beautiful view of the water bend It makes it much more delicious. As for breakfast, we ordered a set for them to be served in the room. When it was time to inform, the staff kept ringing on time.

Boutique Raft Resort is better than the pictures. It really is a beautifully presented property right in sync with nature. I stayed in a River Kwai Suite which was spacious and nicely decorated with huge windows facing the water. I agree the bathrooms could do with a freshen up, as other reviews have suggested. The fridge was well stocked and priced, however there was no tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing and I was charged 100 baht for a L coffee. That said the staff were exceptional, each and every one of them, even with their very limited English. The General manager who owns and runs the resort was super helpful, spoke excellent English and was very hands on. The food was well priced, presented and tasty, although a little basic. I was led to believe it would be easier to book my tours from the hotel on arrival. Unfortunately this really was an expensive option as a solo traveller, as everything was a ‘private’ tour with the resort van. The bike tour was also unavailable. The other thing to be aware of is there are dogs outside the property and they were not friendly. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day :/ I decided to go for a walk and they surrounded me barking aggressively. I love dogs but this meant a quick exit. Unfortunately I felt confined to the property from then on, which wasn’t necessary a bad thing but I would have liked to go exploring. I highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed and I would love to come back.

I stayed in one of the first rooms you see at the resort so a bit of a walk from there to the restaurant but pleasant. overall the room was nice but after showering the entire bathroom would smell of sewage and around the back of the rooms outside also smelt. very confusingly quirky and if it weren't for the smell of sewage and the unnecessarily long walks between buildings it would be nice

Gorgeous hotel by the river with swimming pool overlooking the River Kwai. Very friendly and kind staff, accommodating us for breakfast when little or a lot of guests onsite. Lots of animals around too, we counted 5 dogs, 8 puppies, a few cats and kittens plus 3 peacocks! Would definitely come back as such a beautiful resort in nature, 15 minutes away from a climbing crag called Turtles Home. Thank you for having us!

Accommodation along the Sai Yok River There is a place to park, a convenient entrance, and a private area. The resort is spacious, divided into garden zones and riverside bungalows. The accommodation is located on the almost tip of the Srinakarin Dam, taking almost 2 hours from Mueang Kanchanaburi District to travel, should arrive at the accommodation no later than 4:00 p.m. Small Villa Today, we stay in a small villa, which has the size of 1. There are 2 rooms in the villa. Guests can do water activities, but must wear a life jacket at all times. Additional costs within the free service of the resort will have a good manners. We stayed one night at Suryian Villas while cycling through Thailand. Our main objective was a visit to Erawan falls nearby. The Villas are nice bungalows with great balconies. Our bungalow had a large fridge and kettle. Bed comfort was very good. Set back from the road a bit sheltered us from highway noise. Our host was very friendly and arranged a taxi to Erawan falls for 400 TB. (4 people all in return price)

Очень приятная хозяйка, сама приносит завтраки по утрам, можно попросить постирать вещи. Сначала остановились на один день, потом забронировали еще один, так как вокруг много достопримечательностей. Благодарю за комфортное проживание.

Two male waiters employees in the dining room slept on the floor in a customer reception point and ignored me as a guest. After that, woke up from the floor to take food order. Furthermore these staffs didn't want to work and slept again on the floor playing mobile phones. They totally ignored me after putting my food on the table. I was the only one customer in the restaurant. AFTER finished eating, I saw the identical male employees on the floor playing cell phones in front of the cashire room, lacked of service mind and shameful attitude. The dining room was very dirty. Dusty with insects filled with spider webs under the roof. Toothpick,water on the floor. The female staff said drinks preparer has gone on holiday for 7 days, so no other drinks for sale, except, water, alcoholic and fizzy drinks beverages. When paying, the restaurant cannot issue a computer printed bill. Just spoke by mouth that is 530฿ have to pay cash only. computer bill must go upstairs in the lobby. The officer there said that there was no computer. Very unprofessional, asked for the manager. Staff in the lobby said is absent. Their service is below any standards in the industry. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!!!

一個衹有代理沒有評論的酒店被我開盲盒成功…… 用我媽的話來説這就是泰國的“農家樂”，有點私人莊園的感覺，車開進酒店的小道上哪個環境無敵了……草坪，薰衣草田，向日葵花田很出片喜歡拍照的小夥伴光是農家樂拍照都能拍半天。 湖邊的船屋很乾凈（乾淨是王道），估計太乾淨了所以“小動物”也喜歡，剛入住就有個壁虎在屋頂趕走後之後2天也就沒見過了它了。 酒店離愛侶灣公園車程10分鐘左右，比較偏所以吃飯都是在酒店解決的，價格不貴還挺好吃。399泰銖一個泰式烤肉火鍋套餐，很多的肉肉2大1小沒吃完。還可以送進房間在湖邊甲板上吃哦………

We stayed for 2 nights at Lake Hill Resort, it’s the perfect location on the river. We were a group of 4, two couples and stayed in the rafts on the river (we had a bathtub on our raft terrace, so if you want you could sit in the bath and watch the world go by from the privacy of your own raft). The rooms were a good size, very clean and well appointed, with a kettle so we could make tea. The pillows and mattress were soft, which is unusual for Thailand, so we all slept well in this peaceful location. Although the staff do not speak much English (and my Thai is limited), we were able to communicate using Google translate when we had an issue with the TV. I would not normally put the TV on however everything closes very early in this area (19:30 to 20:00). The Kayaks and paddle boards are free for guests to use, there is also a small swimming pool to cool off in, but we decided to jump into the river wearing the life jackets which were supplied. The breakfast was acceptable, eggs, toast, cereal, and some Thai rice/noodles. They also have some delicious cakes. I definitely recommend this resort, its perfect for exploring Kanchanburi and going to Hell Fire pass (We wanted to do the full walk at Hell Fire pass so needed more than 4 hours there not just an hour), you will require your own transport. My only criticism would be there is not very good signage at the front of the resort next to the road clearly naming Lake Hill Resort in English (its in Thai), so we found it difficult to locate and drove past several times.
