  • Kickstarting a Landmark Workforce Mobilization Project with Ulsan, South Korea! 🚀 On November 30, 2024, during a meeting between the Director of Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency and a delegation from the Republic of Korea, a pivotal agreement was reached to initially recruit 350 skilled workers from Uzbekistan for Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan. This direct hiring initiative marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral labor relations between the two countries. Following this, Azim Husonov, Deputy Director of the Migration Agency, met with Park Jin Young, Regional Head of HRD Korea, and Ms. Jo Hyun Hae, First Secretary of the Korean Embassy in Uzbekistan, to discuss project details. Key Highlights: ✅ Of the 350 workers, 100 will be employed under the E-7 visa (for specialized skilled workers), facilitated directly through Ulsan City Hall's invitation. ✅ This project is among the first of its kind, launched under Korea's “Employment Permit System” (EPS) with Uzbekistan leading the way among 16 partner countries. During the discussions, it was emphasized that the success of this program—through compliance with Korean laws and strong professional performance by the workers—could drive substantial changes in the E-9 visa system and expand opportunities for Uzbek workers in South Korea. This project exemplifies a new era of cooperation and opportunities in international labor migration, fostering trust and mutual benefits for both nations. 🌟 📌 We are proud to facilitate such impactful collaborations and excited about the opportunities this will unlock for Uzbek citizens. Stay tuned for more updates! #LaborMigration #Uzbekistan #SouthKorea #HyundaiHeavyIndustries #GlobalPartnership #HRD
