💡[RECAP] WORKSHOP “GREEN HYDROGEN AND PTX: GLOBAL TRENDS AND VIETNAM MARKET POTENTIAL” 🌏On November 29, the GBA Members for Members Workshop, “Green Hydrogen and PtX: Global Trends and Vietnam Market Potential”, took place in Ho Chi Minh City, with 50 participants attending. 🔋This workshop is part of the International Hydrogen Ramp Up Programme (#H2Uppp), commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and co-hosted by GIZ Energy Support Programme - Viet Nam, AHK Vietnam - Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam and German Business Association - GBA. ♻️The workshop explored green hydrogen and Power-to-X (#PtX) topics, offering insights into global and local projects. 📰🎯FOREIGN INVESTORS FLOCKING TO SOUTHERN REGION 💡Foreign investors are actively exploring opportunities in Southern Vietnam. On November 7, over 40 German businesses visited Dong Nai to evaluate prospects. Alexander Ziehe, chairman of the German Business Association - GBA in Vietnam, praised the province’s professional environment. 🏛️In the past year, Dong Nai has hosted representatives from South Korea, Japan, and India. Major corporations have conducted site visits and proposed projects, such as South Korea’s Harbor Star Engineering Global and Japan’s AEON Vietnam. 💰In Binh Duong, investors have proposed or expanded projects, including Far Eastern Polytex Vietnam and US private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC. As of October 31, total registered FDI in Vietnam reached $27.26 billion, up 1.9% year-on-year.
