About the Role:
As a Crew Controller, you will report to the Operations Control Manager and be responsible for ensuring the safe, Compliant, and efficient delivery of Crew rosters. You will play a critical role in supporting the Operations Controllers in maintaining punctuality and managing Crew schedules. This includes coordinating mandatory and Company Training, managing Crew travel and accommodation, and conducting ongoing legality checks to ensure Compliance with the Company’s Flight time limitations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the daily Crew Operation, ensuring all rostered duties comply with mandatory constraints and industrial agreements.
Coordinate all mandatory and Company Training for Flight Deck and Cabin Crew.
Administer daily rosters, ensuring handovers, Crew positioning Flights, travel, accommodation, taxi, and car hire are correctly booked and that delays are minimized while staying within legal and Company restrictions.
Maximize on-time departures by minimizing Operational delays.
Ensure the safe, legal, efficient, and effective Operation of the Company Aircraft.
Compile weekly and monthly legality reports to ensure Compliance with the EASA FTL Scheme.
What You’ll Bring:
Ability to communicate effectively and share information with the team.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously when required.
High attention to detail and a sense of responsibility in your work.
Strong decision-making abilities, based on sound rationale.
Ability to influence and liaise with internal and external clients.
Ability to maintain composure and work under pressure.
Required Experience:
Experience or interest in Operational control or Crewing environments.
Knowledge of Crew control and EASA FTL regulations.
Proficient in using Crew scheduling software and AIMS Crew Management System.
Understanding of Crew fatigue and circadian rhythm factors.
Knowledge of Flight and cabin Crew Training requirements.
Familiarity with the Fatigue Risk Management System.
Proven experience in Airline Operations or Crewing, including handling Crew union agreements and FTL schemes.
Experience in improving Operational efficiency and cost reduction strategies.
Experience with Crew Training recovery and Crew expiry management.
