"If consumers have moved to digital payments and you're not able to offer those, that shuts you out from the economy in a massive way," noted Rajiv Garodia, global head of government solutions for Visa, in a recent GZERO livestream event presented by Visa. "So how do you enable small businesses to be able to understand this new digital world?"

Garodia explained Visa's commitment to digitally enabling 50 million small businesses and the critical role of small businesses in the modern economy, in a discussion with experts from USAID, e-Estonia, Digital Impact Alliance, and Eurasia Group about the challenges and opportunities of digitization.

Watch a recording of the full discussion: "Digital Nations: Harnessing technology for economic growth."
