If you like the traditional green Creeping Fig vine, you will love this variegated form. It features creamy white margins that look lovely when wrapped up and around a miniature arbor in a fairy garden. Self-clinging, it also looks wonderful when covering the walls of larger fairy houses or other buildings. A relative of edible figs and tropical trees, Variegated Creeping Fig is a tender, evergreen vine. It has distinctive juvenile and mature forms. The younger form features fuzzy, slender branches and tiny, white, heart-shaped variegated leaves. As it matures, it will grow into an aggressive vine that clings to most surfaces. Its strong adhesive, aerial rootlets cling to metal, wood, and concrete. This one can be kept looking its best by cutting back. It works well in a miniature planter or in a terrarium.
