“We found VKB to be a great choice for our full master bathroom remodel. They provided their estimate quickly and out of the 3 other quotes we received for this project they were the least expensive. The work was done with care, especially the tile work, which took longer than expected but only because the workers were careful and meticulous with their detail. We were short some tile, and in these cases they clearly told me what I needed to go get, which was much appreciated. The allowances in the budget for the fixtures and mirrors and such were generous; in fact, we decided to buy our own at Home Depot and received a credit. We relied on VKB to arrange the vanity/counter and shower door, both of which came out much better than expected. My only criticism would be a few minor details were missed, such as the drawer hardware, which came later and had to be installed separately. Overall, however, we were very happy with VKB and would certainly look to them again if we were considering any other work.”

“These guys completely remodeled my bathroom, and it looks beautiful. They made adjustments and allowances for my 95 year old house and kept me updated along the way. I had a plumbing issue that was not part of the contract but they were able to fix the problem and work through it. They were always friendly, helped me choose tile colors and design, offered suggestions, and were generally very easy to work with. I highly recommend them for any home improvement projects you may have.”

“We've had two jobs done by Tom and Bev and been more than pleased with both. The initial job was a remodel of an existing home office/guest room and adjoining bath. Three years later we engaged them again to replace our dilapidated garage with a two story free standing garage/shop and upstairs studio/guest quarters. The latter project has elicited praise from all the neighbors, and many passersby have stopped to inquire who did the work. In both of these instances we were impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of both Beverly the architect and Tom the builder. Bev really listened to our concerns and worked with us to try out different approaches until we found the design that fit our needs and desires for the space, giving helpful advice and pointing out things that we would not have noticed until too late. She shepherded the project through the permitting and inspection process, making sure that no issues with setback or height restrictions arose. Tom was involved in every phase of the construction, dealing with suppliers and subcontractors as well as keeping us informed with daily email updates on progress made, problems encountered, and what the next step would be. He worked with us to achieve our design goals while staying within budget. Living in a construction zone can be stressful, but Tom's crew were great. The guys take very real pride in what the create. They went about their business with a minimum of mess and were always careful to keep the disruption contained. At the conclusion of the garage job we had an open house and invited the carpentry crew and their families. I would not hesitate to recommend Beverly Thomas LLC for one second and have done so many times.”

“Total kitchen renovation extending kitchen area by removing the dining room and having an open concept layout to the living room area. Project was started on time and was completed in a reasonable time frame. Workers are professional and polite. As always in a major renovation project, you will run into some unexpected issues but the company will work with you financially and suggest recommendations to cut out extra costs at the same time overcoming any project issues. I will be hiring them again to do my next bedroom/bathroom renovations. I already have brought them back to extend my wood flooring into my basement.”

“I had searched for several years for the right contractor to redo my kitchen. I tried several contractors on smaller home improvement projects or handyman jobs but they all were either poor communicators, poor quality or too expensive. I found New Line Remodeling on a Maryland Contractors site and Carlos was at my home the next day to review my handyman projects. He asked excellent questions, quoted a fair price and finished the first job I gave him the next day. I was so pleased, I showed him my kitchen and hired him to replace the countertops and cabinets as well as install a new garbage disposal and a tile backsplash. He worked with me on each step of choosing cabinets, granite, sink, under cabinet lighting etc. His network of granite and cabinet people were excellent as well! His attention to detail was even higher than mine (and I am picky) and the end result was gorgeous, on budget and a total installation time of 6 DAYS from tear out to being able to use my new kitchen. He even rerouted the mess of pipes under the sink for a more functional space. I ALWAYS recommend New Line Remodeling for any job in my home or my friends' homes. I use them exclusively for any work I need done.”

“As I began my search for a contractor to do some major renovations on my house, I found the task a bit daunting to say the least. I set aside a couple of days from work and spent them interviewing potential contractors. Nearing the end of the second day, I still hadn’t found someone I was totally sold on, then in walked Kurt Ozbey. I immediately knew he was the one I wanted working on my house. He has a very easy manner and I trusted him from the start. He told me he only does one job at a time and would be at my house every day until it was finished. And that is exactly what he did. Not only is he professional and reliable, he did a fabulous job. I live in a very old house in Georgetown: he knew how to work around all the problems that entails. This was no small job. Kurt and team, completely renovated my kitchen, bathroom, built two closets, replaced three windows, a door and put a toilet in my basement. I now have a brand new house. Without hesitation, I would recommend Masters for any job you are considering. “I used ACS Construction to renovate my basement (utility and laundry rooms, storage...). I was extremely pleased by the organisation of construction activities, the end product and follow-up. ACS employs staff who are at the same time licensed for plumbing (water and gas), electrical, and carpentry/drywall simplifying the coordination between various trades. Plumbing and electrical works were independently inspected before closing. ACS price was competitive and dealing with German, ACS owner, and his staff was very pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend him for renovation projects.”

“This husband and wife team were able to bring to life a powder room I had envisioned but couldn’t make happen. I had seen a sink and pedestal on Houzz and Pinterest that I loved but couldn’t find in the states. They were able to duplicate the design at a reasonable cost and pull together the rest of the bathroom for a complete look. Their communication skills are top notch, their employees were there when they said they’d be there, always neat and cleaning up as they went along.”
