“This team was contracted to do the architectural work on an addition to my home. I sketched out the overall design. Nong listened and offered his suggestions. At the conclusion, his overall design and improvements when far beyond what I had envisioned. He walk through all the paperwork and time needed to get all the permits which allowed me time to take care of the family and talk about the new look. The project is still under construction, but I know my family and I will be happy with what we both (myself and Nong) envisioned.”

“I just completed a complete remodel of my San Francisco Edwardian flat and build out my basement. Joanne and her staff did a fantastic job. It started out as a kitchen bath remodel, but once the design process started expanded to include every room as we discussed how different spaces would be used and what I didn't like about the current space after living with it for 20yrs. Might as well do it right! Joanne's attention to detail, listening, and high ethical standards are unmatched. She would listen in the meetings and ask questions then come back with some ideas and sketches to get my reaction. She knew what I wanted without me even knowing it. She was also sensitive to the project budget which was important. I was able to complete the project within my budget. She was also key to working with the general contractor. She brought with her experience in projects of my scope / scale and working with different contractors and even her own remodel. This helped immensely. I look forward to the opportunity to work with Koch Architects again.”

“They just finished up the interior remodel of my master bedroom and living room. It took about 23 days to finish all the things we wanted done to both rooms. The company communicated effectively and performed the remodel above and beyond our expectations. Any ideas we had were incorporated into the final design in some way to satisfy our needs. The design team was brilliant and didn’t rush their creative process, which is why the final product turned out beautifully. Thanks again for your commitment towards this remodel. “We worked with Mark to design our new home. He spent the time with us to understand what we wanted. He incorporated our needs and requirements into various plan options and provided us with information on costs, pros and cons, etc. We had a very complicated project - Mark took the initiative to lead us through the planning a design process, acting at times as a project manager and presenting the plan to the city, other engineers and representing us when needed. He was very easy to work with and very professional. Building a custom home has significant challenges - Mark's help was instrumental in getting the project completed on time.”

“I highly recommend Rebecca Schnier Architecture. Rebecca has done several projects for us, including a 1000sf upper level addition, kitchen and bathroom remodels. The first project was in 2001 and the last one in 2012. She does beautiful design work that is very functional. She asks questions to be sure she understands her clients needs and taste. She offers design options and always has her clients best interests in mind. She is very creative and resourceful in her use of space. She is a pleasure to work with and delivers beautiful results.”
