I often called him multiple times a day and he was always very patient to answer my questions and kept me updated on the daily schedule. The crew was very professional, courteous and highly skillful - we really love the great tile work. Tony and his folks did an excellent job. Now we enjoyed our beautiful bathroom everyday and we are so glad we hired this team. We love their work so much that we decided to remodel the two bathrooms upstairs as well with them, which are ongoing right now.”

“Thank Goodness we found Appetite for Construction! Our family was in the beginning stages of a major remodeling project when we lost our contractor to unforeseen circumstances. We panicked! Most companies were completely booked when we got a referral from a friend to given Mike (owner and general contractor) a call. That phone call started a one year relationship with Mike and his crew and we cannot say enough good things about him and his company. First of all he was able to squeeze us into an already very busy schedule of his, and despite being extremely busy we immediately knew we would be well taken care of. It's not an easy task to take over a project that had been started by another company. His strong communication and extensive experience working on remodeling homes definetnly showed. The transition was smooth and he was able to keep our original timeline and meet all expectations we originally had for the project. My husband and i were amazed at his ability to navigate working with the original sub-contractors that were already lined up to work. When Mike's crew came in to do parts of the project they were all professional, efficient and very easy to work with as well. Mike clearly has good established relationships with the building inspectors and is an expert in knowing all the in's and out's of the city's proccess. I believe only ONE of the inspections didn't pass (a minor change needed to be made), which allowed us to stay on time and ON BUDGET! Mike is also a designer in disguise. When getting to the finish work, he offered suggestions on how certain details could add better function but also better design overall. We were sold on his ideas and the execution and attention to detail was spot on. We could not be happier with how our project turned out. So much so, we already have future projects in the works. “I had a great experience working with Atlas. I first reached out to them for an estimate on repairs after I had water damage. Ruben helped price out what it would be for just repairs and what it would cost if I wanted to do additional renovations, which I ended up doing. Everyone I worked with was really great, from those doing the work in my house (especially Ronald) to the office staff handling billing. All in all, they repaired drywall/texture, repainted the interior of the house, fixed recessed lighting that had been damaged, remodeled my bathroom completely (floor tile, wall tile, new bathtub, vanity, lighting, etc.), and sanded and repainted my kitchen cabinets. Living at home during construction is a pain no matter what, but they made it as easy as it could be. I would recommend them and work with them in the future.”

“After receiving bids from and interviewing several contractors, we selected Podesta to do a top to bottom remodel of a Queen Anne house built in 1900. We had seen their work, appreciated their attention to detail, and knew they could handle a big job. We were not disappointed. Though the job took 3 months longer than first anticipated, we had made sensible and needed changes to the plans all during construction. Communication, both with us and with the architect, was very good throughout the construction. The site was kept very clean and any issues raised by neighbors during the construction were dealt with quickly and respectfully.
