“We had the pleasure of working with Sam of Agora General Construction on a few estimates for our house. Sam is always professional, a great communicator, timely and really listened to our needs to understand the work that needed to be done. He even brought in expertise in specific areas to get specialist’s opinions when needed. We would absolutely work with Sam and his team again. “I would highly recommend Jack and his team to anyone! And already have! Our neighbors recommended him to us after their bathroom reno and our other neighbors will be using him in the fall for theirs. He’s the best! We renovated 2.5 bathrooms this spring with Jack. His quote came in where we were hoping which was great. But more importantly for us was the quality of the work and ease of working with him and his team. Jack is very responsive, timely, and always follow through, which we have learned is difficult to find. Whenever I got stressed, Jack always remained calm and addressed any concerns right away. Truly Jack and his team were a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again for any future projects! (See pics of Northern Liberties bathrooms for our reno)”

“I have hired A&E Construction for both large and small projects multiple times over the past 8 years and without any hesitation, give them the highest recommendation possible. The owner of the company, Greg Fontaine, is experienced, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Projects were always done on time and on budget and if for some reason, the schedule needs to change, Greg does an excellent job communicating the reasons. Before working with A&E, we hired many contractors over the years, and no one ever compared in terms of quality of work combined with reliability and trustworthiness. Another thing we've really appreciated about working with Greg is his ability to provide us with options and ideas if we needed to scale back on a project. Two of the larger projects Greg did for us were finishing our basement and building a poolhouse. Greg was very cognizant that we did not have an unlimited budget and worked with us to make sure we got the most for our money. Greg also does an excellent job hiring talented and reliable people that I am always comfortable having in my home. Additionally, they are very neat and always clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Lastly, and most importantly, Greg really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond what's expected to make sure they are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about him and A&E!! If you hire them, you won't be disappointed.”

“Jeff Spoelker was excellent through the whole process. My wife and I loved the work that he had done when he was with Lyman Perry Assoc. We wanted the Nantucket look even though we were only building on an 18 acre lake. One of his strengths beyond design was bringing ideas to us on types of light fixtures, flooring choices, and even landscape options that would work. For example, as we moved through the planning process, Jeff recommended that we put in a fire pit down by the lake. We would have never thought of it. We have had so much fun using it with friends, family and neighbors. The bottom line for us was we really didn't know what we wanted when we started thinking about building our "dream home". Hiring a good architect is a must. Jeff is one of them!”
