ICO Construction & Remodeling

ICO Construction is great! We contracted with ICO for a full kitchen remodel in January of 2024. Due to some issues with foundation stability, the project was unable to kick off as scheduled. Although the delays were not the fault of ICO, they stayed in constant contact with us as the foundation repair was completed. As we moved into design phase, they were available for any question we had, and we had a lot! The more we dug into the scope of our remodel, the more items we found that we wanted to add before demo began. ICO was prompt and accurate with change orders as the project continued to take shape. They worked with us through the changes in scope and materials selection. When demo day arrived, the work started on-time and the communication for scheduling of work was always spot on. The contractors they used were professional, competent, and courteous. ICO used What’s App as a real-time communication tool and it worked flawlessly to keep us informed. The work was executed professionally and with skill. Anything that wasn’t to our satisfaction was happily fixed or modified. The project wrapped in mid-May of 2024 and we couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen. I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to ICO for any home construction/remodeling needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone needing quality work.

I cannot say enough about our experience with ICO Construction. We wanted to remodel our master bathroom and it was going to be a big job. I had already had bad experiences making calls trying to find a contractor until I found ICO (I believe through Yelp). Ilia answered my call and was friendly and interested from the get-go. He set up a time to visit that same week. I also had a quote set up from another vendor, but once we met Ilia, we canceled the other quote. Even though Ilia is the "salesman" of the company, we could tell he had enough technical knowledge to make us feel comfortable that ICO could handle the job and make our vision come alive. Next Illia returned with his partner Or, who serves as the project manager. They took measurements, provided a quote, and gave us a veteran's discount. The best part is that their service includes access to an interior designer, Edyd, who came tile shopping with us and helped us choose our shower wall, shower floor, bench, niche, and bathroom floor tile. She also provided a visual rendering of what the final product would look like. Or provided me with a material list and I purchased the supplies. Having never done this before, I appreciated that Edyd calculate the exact amount of each tile I needed to buy (with 10% overage) so I didn't have to try to calculate anything myself. The subcontractors ICO uses were all fabulous. Hector and his crew were the main contractors, along with Alex the master plumber, and Eric the electrician. All 3 had immense attention to detail and cared about the quality through their work. Hector and his crew were in our house every single day for about a month. They were very trustworthy, so much so that I felt comfortable leaving them here alone with them when I had appointments or work commitments. They hung up heavy duty zippered plastic doors in several areas to minimize the dust, cleaned up after themselves every single day, and treated our home with respect. They were always in a good mood and pleasant. Despite several change orders (such as us adding new carpet throughout the house), the project was completed on time. Or was excellent with communicating with us every step of the way and was always proactive. I never had to chase him down or wait for him to get back to me. Best of all, at the end of the project, they sent a cleaning team to make sure everything was dust free and spotless. And they scheduled a closing meeting to review the project and make sure we were completely satisfied. They even brought us a thank you gift from Bath & Body Works. We plan to use them again next year and I can't wait!

Our experience with ICO was amazing from the minute they gave us the quote until the project was done. We were nervous selecting a company to redo our bathroom, but Illia, Or, and Benjamin made it a breeze. You can trust these guys to do the work on time and with great quality. Trust the process and you will be blown away by the results. The communication was great as well. They answered questions, confirmed plans with us, and did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it. In the end, they transformed our bathroom into the nicest room in the house! Can't recommend them enough.

We just had our kitchen remodeled by ICO and are extremely pleased with the final product. The whole process was made very easy and stress free through their great communication and attention to detail. If something was wrong or not to our liking, we were never worried because we knew that they would make it right. They would regularly show up while work was being done to check how things were going and would send a message at the end of everyday of what was accomplished that day and what will be done tomorrow. We really appreciated their honesty and integrity and will call them again for our next project.

I cannot recommend ICO, Ilia & Or, highly enough! We had a very challenging project remodeling a 115 year old home. This included adding a master bathroom to a room that used to be a porch & fitting a staircase into a very narrow area in order to create a master closet/master suite. The pictures do not even show how beautiful & perfect the work is. They give so much attention to detail & truly treat your home as they would their own. Communication was exceptional with video updates, photos (we were out of town). We have done several remodels over the years & have never had such a seamless process with such an impeccable quality outcome. Truly grateful for the exceptional experience & the outcome better than we expected or dreamed.

My husband initially chose ICO for our home improvement project, and - though I am usually the one who orchestrates those decisions for our household - I can say without reservation that it was the best decision we could have made. From the initial design walkthrough to final touch ups, Or and Iliya were responsive, communicative, and professional. They helped us solidify a vision for increasing storage space in our kitchen by creatively suggesting an idea we hadn’t considered - moving our garage door - which ultimately allowed us to add on the kitchen pantry of our dreams. A smaller part of the project included revamping our 70s wet bar to be more functional, removing a sink we didn’t use and building custom cabinetry to match our kitchen and house a new wine fridge and more storage. Though the square footage of this area was tiny, the impact of the new storage and look of the bar has elevated our entire entertaining space. ICO also did a custom paint job and installed wainscoting for our first baby’s nursery room and even installed a custom wraparound shelf for a toy train set. It’s hard to understate how happy we are with the quality and look of the work. But even beyond that, living through construction was a surprisingly painless process thanks to the organization, creativity, and thoughtfulness of the team leads and crew. We will recommend this company to our friends, and also consider them for all future home projects.

We just completed our new kitchen done by Ilia and his team!! We are enjoying the new space, lighting, cabinets, countertop, appliances and great workmanship. Ilia was a delight to work with, he provided The Best Tradesmen and Expertise during the kitchen renovation. He not only was on-time but within the budget estimated cost. ICO Construction has made my dream kitchen come true. Ilia takes time to explain the work to you and has great ideas and input. I have the kitchen of my dreams at an affordable and reasonable cost. Ilia was also very responsive to my request and really walked me through the process. My kitchen went from looking like a kitchen from the 70's to a kitchen of my dreams. Ilia installed drywall, cabinets, crown molding, flooring, new doors, new shelving, an island, new lighting, recess lighting, a dishwasher and also painted the kitchen. I would highly recommend ICO Construction & Remodeling.

The folks at ICO Construction & Remodeling did an excellent job in our whole house renovation. Our new kitchen and bath are the highlights but they did a complete and great job with every detail throughout the main floor. They take care of all the details and are great to work with. All of the people on the project were very good at their trades. They also were respectful of our neighbors keeping things as quiet and as neat as possible. We will highly recommended this company.

I found ICO Construction through a quick Houzz search along with a couple other remodeling service. Ilia was very timely on getting back to me and setting up an appointment to come out. He knows his stuffs and was able to give me an estimate right away. He worked with me on a couple of options for my kitchen remodeling project. Ilia was very patience with me as I keep on changing plan and adding more stuff to the project. He also worked with me to keep my budget down and done the work at a reasonable price. Overall, I'm very satisfy with my newly remodeled kitchen and would definitely use their service again in the future.

They helped us remodel our master bathroom. This was the second project we worked on together, and we couldn’t be any happier with the results. This was such a great experience! Ilia and Or were amazing at making our bathroom remodeling an easy and stress-less process. Our bathroom was initially a total mess, with water leaks , mold, so basically unusable. Once everything was done, Ilia and Or transformed our bathroom into a new paradise for us. We are very happy! They helped us plan every detail, from scheduling to material purchase to recommendations of layout/looks. Communication was above and beyond, made it easy for quick answer/questions. Installation was all done by professionals so quality is superb! Flexibility was also appreciated as they handled our mold situation terrifically. We hired ICO after we purchased our first home and needed the kitchen remodeled. We contacted multiple companies that provided estimates for our dream kitchen. We chose ICO to do the job and we couldn’t pick a better fit! They are very professional, detail oriented and costumer attentive! The project was done in time , in our budget and the end result was beyond our expectations! The communication was great!
