I will be as practical as possible on this. During Covid-19 lockdown, many industries were faced with the challenge of having to remain productivity while working from home, structural engineering industry was not left behind. In my office, we had to ensure that there is constant communication within the team and we had a regularly daily sessions where every team mate report their progress of the tasks they are assigned. Short but very focused sessions. Every team mate's task was schedule driven (deadlines and milestones were contained in schedules), progress and variance had to be reported with planned actions to arrest negative variations. This method worked. Though we worked remotely, we delivered optimally.
