To make sure they stick to that image, emcess should spend as much time in discovering the requirements as they spend on grooming. Homework before classwork is the mantra!

Turn off email notifications for your mental health. I did this in 2011 and have never had them come to my phone. If it’s urgent they will call or text. Even then it’s ok to answer texts later and send them to voicemail depending on the circumstance.

This means keeping them updated on your progress, sending them drafts or samples of your work, asking for feedback or approval, and confirming the final arrangements. You should also be reliable and punctual, delivering your work on time and with quality.
