Most importantly the scrum master should be encouraging fast feedback from the SCRUM team. If they want the SM’s feedback, then they should feel comfortable and save enough to ask, but the scrum master should really be facilitating an open environment of transparency and trust.

En muchas organizaciones, se invierte para que los líderes aprendan a dar feedback, sin embargo, en muy pocas veces he visto que se enseñe a que las personas aprendan a recibir el feedback. Yo enseño a mis equipos que el feedback es una extraordinaria herramienta para que alguien nos ayude a ver nuestros "puntos ciegos", ver situaciones, comportamientos o acciones en dónde hay espacio para seguir mejorando. El feedback es una mirada a lo que estamos haciendo y cómo lo estamos haciendo, no es concluyente, no nos define, es una forma de retarnos a seguir creciendo personalmente y profesionalmente, la clave es desarrollar una mentalidad de crecimiento, y eso nos ayudará a ver el feedback recibido como un regalo.

In one of the project, the team had issues in defining and reusing the architecture as it had different requirements. Collaborating with other teams in a meeting proved beneficial, as it facilitated the identification and focused refinement of the design and architecture. As an Scrum Master you also should be humble and ask the team for THEIR feedback from time to time. Mature and emotional safe teams can do like a pro in regular scrum events ( maybe except the review session…). In case more privacy is needed: offer as Scrum Master F2F sessions to all your team members and kindly ask for their opinions in regards to: - current and urgent topics - perception on Scrum Masters way of working/ dealing with situations etc. - expectations and wishes This will help to clarify unspoken interpretations and foster the trust in the team. Of course we handle these sessions with respect, openness and a smile from the bottom of our hearts ❤️.

If that is possible, ask other Scrum Masters to shadow you during your events facilitation. Then, get 1-1 feedback - it will bring a fresh view and might be a good start for the working community of agile practice.
