Se debe incentivar día a día con el aporte y las ideas de los que componen dicho equipo, escuchando opiniones, aportes, innovaciones y tratando de cada integrante se sienta importante en su función. We all have blindspots in our leadership style, even as we continue to grow awareness and change behaviors. For me, having people around me who feel comfortable giving me direct feedback in the moment (or shortly thereafter) has been invaluable. This means that I have to consistently provide psychological safety for those around me to raise even the most sensitive of topics. I also need to ask deeper questions to ensure I'm understanding the blindspot and how to overcome it, without being defensive. In addition to thanking them for their honesty and care, I ask them to please keep an eye out for when I might backslide and for when I am doing better.
