For me the most crucial today is the Compliance Officer for AI. They're the ones making sure that AI products and services not only push the envelope in terms of innovation but also strictly adhere to all regulatory and legal frameworks. It's a balancing act that requires a deep dive into the tech itself and a firm grasp of the laws that govern its application.

As I work with executives one thing is clear. Understanding AI isn't enough. The magic skill is in being able to identify the business problem, dissect that problem into meaningful segments, and translate how the right technology, implemented in the right way for the right customer will get the results you want. There are lots of builders. Lots of engineers. Even more strategists, but being someone who can understand the nuance of the business (domain expertise), industry and problems that need solving & be able to successfully marry those to the right AI solution, this is the skill that is most needed today. The skill every company needs is a translator. Someone who can go from the Boardroom to the Whiteboard to the Keyboard. Let's go!

Coaching and People Leadership: Fostering team growth, constant feedback, and creating genuine connection. 2. Willingness to Change: Adapting to and exploring new AI technologies. Outcomes matter, so delivering value while also learning is key. 3. Willingness to Fail: Embracing failure as key to innovation. Be vulnerable enough to admit defeat, celebrate the try. 4. Problem Definition: Clearly identifying problems and intended outcomes, including breaking down and sequencing tasks. These skills are crucial in AI for leading teams, fostering collaboration, and driving impact w/in any AI role.

I am going to be controversial and answer a different question. For someone wanting to work in AI I would say focus core skills and competences. The roles and job titles and descriptions are likely to change. Here are my tips: take time to understand the problem and the business value. AI is a problem solving tool, understand the problem and whether this any business value in solving it. Next, understand that AI models are just pieces of software, so, make sure the full rigour of good software engineering is necessary for good maintainable software. Lastly, use data to tell a story because everyone loves a good story.

Key is to *Build on genuine interest* and keep exploring. Demand driven job is secondary. - Try to answer why do you want to work in AI - It answers role specifics most often than not
