A great exercise is to see if they can come up with a plan for agile implementation with quick wins, near term wins and long term wins. This approach encourages collaboration and strategic planning that will help each team member feel heard and a part of the solution rather than favoring one idea over another.

Clarity is your god. When running a project, you need everyone to be on the same page at all times and for the final decision maker to be identified from the onset. This will reduce friction and any confusion around who gets to make the final call. Your decision framework can easily be created by developing a Roles and Responsibilities document and making sure you include a visual RAPID/RACI chart. Then, on your next weekly meeting, set aside 5 minutes at the beginning for everyone to review the document and share any questions/feedback in the meeting. Taking these steps will nearly eliminate confusion and will allow for swift action.
