It's important to give everyone the opportunity to speak and share concerns and ideas. It's also important to share with everyone the reasons and needs for the KPI's and how it ties to bigger pictures that drive the business and help the company as a whole meet revenue goals and results. Once they have a better understanding of the why's behind the KPI's, they will be more willing to work with them or help come up with ideas for others KPI's that will drive the right results but maybe could work better. Everyone wants to feel valued and that they are heard and appreciate for ideas and contributions so it's important to be as open as you can with the team regarding things like this.
