I do well planning for clients, simply because when I begin working for them, I discuss likes, pace, and other preferences upfront. Often the best solution, is slightly different itineraries, or "staggered" - meaning that one person/group, is ahead, and group two, which may be quicker, or less interested in a longer duration, "catches" up to group one. This has proven effective, especially when some people prefer to people-watch and soak up the culture, while others prefer to shop and explore. The bottom line, all travelers should have their own mobile device, and know the location of meeting points. It's important to have itineraries that appeal to ALL travelers. -Keeps those 5-star reviews rolling in! HA!

I've worked with a supplier who offers tours but at a different pace based on passengers with mobility issues or who want to be more active. If you're able, offer different styles of tour, but be very clear what that means so that your customers can make an informed decision and you can right size the group.
