If you're looking for a remote job, I suggest to start tracking using a google spreadsheet. I would suggest having 4 different tabs on the spreadsheet: 1. Companies of interest (These are companies you would love to work for) 2. Jobs of interest (The specific jobs and roles you're interested in) 3. Job boards (Job boards that you are using to look for jobs) 4. Applications (Here is where you track all your job applications) By having these 4 tabs, you'll have a more holistic approach/strategy to your job search.

There are many free or inexpensive platforms to help manage and track you applications. Use some free trials to find what works best for you.

If you are looking for a remote job through job boards and want to stay organised, I suggest to choose 5-10 job boards that align with what you’re looking for and add to the ‘job boards’ tab of your job tracking spreadsheet. Then set up search alerts on 3-10 of the job boards with the job titles/ sector you’re targetting. Book time in your calendar and allocate at least 1 hour once a week to check 3-5 job boards where you cannot set up alerts. Every time you find a suitable job either through the alerts or your weekly search, copy and paste them onto your job tracking spreadsheet and set time every week/day to apply to these jobs.

Job boards are not always the best answer. Yes, they can provide one place for multiple job postings. I prefer for job seekers to apply directly on a website, if available. Not all companies use job boards and not all companies have an ATS.
