In my experience in philanthropy, active listening is crucial for strengthening donor relationships. It goes beyond collecting feedback through surveys or interviews; it involves deeply understanding and valuing the donor's perspective. We have to listen actively both donors and recipients philanthropy. Also the social media communities. Some of the problems doesnt need to be solved, some of them needed to listen, like our experience of helping homeless community, we offer help to move them to house, but they reject, but when we listen to them, some of them homeless because run from home, broken family. After listen to them they feel better and we pray support their needs, some of them we give money to go back home. The donors in this case willingly to help these people because cause of act, they give from their pockets. This the small example of real philanthropy in actions direct serving people.

In our experience , the personalize engagement happened when our donors and friend want to celebrate their birthday differently. Not at cozy restaurant, but with children at street, homeless community and orphans. Maria celebrate giving cake and blow candle with homeless people at Semarang, in our case we asked the homeless children do they celebrate their birthday. The children answer , they never did blow candle on cake , their ages 4,5 years old, have some 3 years old. This is true, we are more happier when we give, "Encourage Participation". When we see the donor give directly to the beneficiary or receiver, the donor will smile most of them said this amazing, and in tears of happiness. They said no matter how cruel this world and we work, but we can help them, its precious.

Evaluation, each month we post wisdom on the website, to report the activity we did this month, and see how many people get benefits from it.
